Quick Facts
June 22 is a very important day for Trane. It's the day we salute the dedication and skill of all the hardworking technicians who keep the nation's HVAC systems running smoothly—not only in our homes but in our schools, office buildings, factories, hospitals and more.
"To the incredible service technicians who go above and beyond every day, thank you for your outstanding commitment and technical expertise," said Marc Quail, Mid-Atlantic Regional General Manager. “Your relentless dedication to solving problems and ensuring customer satisfaction is admirable. You are the backbone of exceptional service, and we truly appreciate everything you do."
Being an HVAC technician is a demanding profession, requiring rigorous training—and Trane technicians are some of the best trained in the world, skilled in the maintenance and repair of everything from chillers and heat pumps to building controls and automation systems. In addition, our HVAC technicians must often work in challenging conditions. On hot summer days or in freezing winter conditions, it's the technician who's up on the roof checking refrigerant pressure, or in the mechanical room working on a boiler.
“There's no question the technician's job is one of the most challenging at Trane," said Fernando Lagomasino, Florida Regional General Manager. "Our technicians are in many ways at the center of our business and the reflection of our brand and culture. They're not only some of the most essential employees we have, they're also some of the most visible in front of our customers. That means we rely on them not only to do great work, but also to help maintain customer relationships that keep every one of our business streams (equipment/service/contracting) growing. We owe them our thanks as they really make us the good hands team."
National HVAC Technician Day was instituted in 2016 to show appreciation for all the skilled technicians in the HVAC industry. Help celebrate by thanking a technician you might know. Use the hashtag #NationalHVACTechDay to show a little love to the people who spend so much time and energy helping ensure you can live and work safely and comfortably.
We received an outpouring of heartfelt appreciation from our customers for our exceptional Trane technicians.
