Engineers Week: Supporting the Development of Industry Experts

That’s why Engineers Week (EWeek) is not just an important set of dates on the calendar but a reason to engage with engineers young and old, as well as individuals interested in pursuing a STEM-based career. Since 1951, the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) has committed a wealth of resources to ensure “a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce” through collaboration across communities, public and private organizations, schools and cultural societies.¹  

In our local communities, Trane engineers regularly participate in activities to spread passion and awareness for engineering and STEM-based roles. Through associations like ASHRAE, NSPE, and SWE to name a few, an engineer or organization committed to the field and attracting young people to it is never far away.
