The Rental Services team at Trane is here when you need us the most - which is often when you least expect it. Rental Services offers 24/7/365 local service, engineering expertise and an expansive fleet of rental chillers, air conditioners, cooling towers, air handlers, portable heaters, power generators and ancillary products. Planned or unplanned, simple or complex, short- and long-term needs, you can feel confident with Rental Services anywhere from factory maintenance shut downs to hospitals, schools, and professional buildings.

Get to know the Rental Services team today. Today we meet Kimberly Franklin, an equipment project manager supporting Rental Services.

Q. What excites you about supporting Rental Services at Trane?
A. I came to Rental Services from the Light Commercial Unitary side of Trane. I am excited to learn more about the rental business and the opportunity to gain knowledge about the other products of the business.   

Q. What do you wish every customer knew about Rental Services?
A. I want every customer to know that through Rental Services, Trane delivers what I consider the 5 P's

Q. Do you have a favorite memory from when you have helped a customer?
A. One of my Area Service Managers had a customer who wanted to purchase some equipment in which Trane Rental Services specializes.  Trane Rental Services is in the business of “renting” equipment and not the “sale” of equipment for the most part. After negotiations with the customer, there was an agreement made for the sell price.  This was a non-traditional sale being that the Area Service Manager along with myself, worked with the customer to complete the sale. I followed the 5 P’s to see this process through. 

Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. I volunteer regularly by feeding the homeless on a weekly basis, participating in the Red Cross with individuals and families in crisis, working with seniors through Ted Talks on operating of technology (cell phones, computers, etc.), as well as advocating for families within the legal arena who are financially challenged.  I also enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.

Kimberly Franklin, Strategic Project Manager for Trane Rental Services

 

 

Kimberly Franklin is a Florida native, residing in Ocoee Florida. She is happily married to her husband, Albert. She is the mother of four children; 3 daughters; Driticia (age 27), Jalia & Shakia (18 year old twins), and one son; Tehriq (age 15.)

Kimberly’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Kimberly also has a Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law.

Kimberly has been in Project Management for most of her professional career. Previous to Trane, she was the Senior Project Manager with a construction company. Her career started with Trane as a Project Manager in Light Commercial Units for small commercial equipment up to 25 tons. Currently, Kimberly is the Strategic Project Manager at Trane Rental Services, overseeing and managing all rental equipment.
