Rick Kloeppner, Product Manager, Light Unitary Controls

Rick Kloeppner is a Product Manager in the Commercial Building Automation Group at Trane, headquartered in White Bear Lake, MN. With a focus on Light Unitary Controls, Rick oversees a range of products including thermostats, small building automation systems, and rooftop unitary controllers. Rick joined Trane in 2007, first managing Trane’s field applied BACnet controllers and terminal factory controllers.  






Rachel Nilsson, Product Manager, Controls Service Tools

Rachel Nilsson is a Product Manager for Trane Controls based out of St. Paul, MN. Rachel is primarily responsible for controls service tools and mobile apps. Rachel joined Trane in 2009 as a Usability Analyst, doing usability research and user interface design for controls and moved to product management in 2018. Rachel is intensely interested in the relationship between work and technology and finding ways to use technological advances to make our technicians and customers more efficient and effective.
