Sarah Hilden, HVAC Systems Applications Engineer, Trane Commercial

In her current role, Sarah’s focus is around hydronics and thermal energy storage in heating and cooling applications and advancing energy modeling.  Prior to her current role, Sarah worked as a Senior Building Performance and Systems Engineer with Trane’s Customer Direct Service (CDS) team where she led a cross-functional development team focused on the TRACE® 3D Plus software tool while supporting and training engineers in use of CDS design and analysis tools.

Sarah is active in the La Crosse Area Chapter of ASHRAE, currently serving as Secretary.  Past roles including newsletter editor, member-at-large on the Board of Governors and local committees over the years.  Sarah currently serves as Secretary for ASHRAE TC 6.1.





Brian Meyers, System Controls Portfolio Leader, Trane Commercial

In his portfolio leader role, Brian is responsible for the management of the current generation Tracer Building Automation Systems. He also serves as a subject matter expert on topics including HVAC applications, system/protocol integration, internet connectivity and cyber security.

Brian has been active in product management within Trane over the years. As an Applications Engineer, a Product Manager, and a Portfolio Leader, Brian has been a key part of industry standards, organizational transformation (including Digital and Cyber Security), product development pipeline, sales & operation support, and customer outreach.Marcus graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, and later a Masters in Management of Technology.
