Shedding Light on New Integration Opportunities

June 09, 2022

Now more than ever, customers are seeking innovative and sustainable solutions to help improve their buildings. As a result, engineers should opt for designing out-of-the-box energy efficient and future-proof solutions to meet their customers’ needs.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, commercial building lighting and HVAC represent over 50% of total U.S. electricity consumption. By incorporating the use of high efficiency lighting equipment into design—whether its LEDs, occupancy sensing, daylighting, or tuning— you can significantly reduce carbon emissions, increase savings with lower installed cost, improve risk management, and enhance the overall building value with a superior end user experience.

Create “brighter” and more efficient spaces with Trane

As your customer’s partner in design, there are steps you can take to ensure the building automation system allows for future controls opportunities—from network lighting control to full integration. During this webinar you’ll learn more about:

Learning Objectives:

  • How to talk to your customers about lighting—including outcomes such as energy savings.
  • Key building automation system design considerations for lighting controls.
  • Real-life examples of how integrated lighting provided lower install-cost, risk mitigation, and a better end-user experience for the customer.
