    With the ability to provide both heating and cooling simultaneously, the Thermafit™ MAS heat pump chiller offers an all-in-one solution for diverse climate control needs. This dual functionality maximizes efficiency and reduces the need for separate systems, saving both space and energy.

  3. High Efficiency with Next-Gen Refrigerant

    Utilizing next-gen, low-GWP R-454B refrigerant and vapor injection scroll compressors, the Thermafit™ MAS heat pump chiller achieves up to 8.2 times more efficiency compared to other electric heating methods. This advanced technology ensures optimal performance even in extreme ambient temperatures, delivering hot water up to 140 °F.

Product Information

  • Vapor Injection Compressor: Injects superheated vapor into the scroll compressor, expanding the operating envelope and enabling hot water temperatures of ~130°F (54.4°C) even at 0°F (-17.8°C) outdoor ambient temperatures.
  • Dual Duty Refrigeration Coils: Fin and tube construction coils that function as evaporators or condensers based on operational mode, with an option for epoxy coating for enhanced durability.
  • ECM Variable Speed Condenser Fans: Quiet, highly efficient, and maintenance-free fans that optimize performance.
  • Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers: Serve as independent heat exchangers for evaporators or condensers, with an option for heat tracing on all wetted components for improved reliability.
  • Common Hydronic Headers: Includes a strainer, automatic isolation valve, and flow switch to simplify installation and reduce costs.
  • Optional Features: Compressor wraps for sound attenuation, fused or non-fused disconnect switch, power distribution panel (NEMA 4X option), BMS integration, electronic isolation valve, heat tracing, and single point power.
  • Capacity Range: 30T (433 MBH) per module (3-10 modules per bank)
  • Operating Map:
    • Cooling: Chilled water 42°F to 65°F; 40°F to 115°F ambient
    • Heating: Hot water 65°F to 140°F, 0°F to 95°F ambient
    • Simultaneous: Chilled water 42°F to 65°F; Hot water 90°F to 140°F
  • Compressor: Vapor injection scroll compressor
  • Refrigerant: Next-gen, low-GWP R-454B
